T. A. Marciano, BA, CMT ~ Previously employed as an International Relocation Manager at a large real estate company, massage therapy became the next step in Tracy's career after a solo month-long trip to Indonesia in 2002. A subsequent month-long trip in 2003 developed into a strong interest in ancient holistic health.  Experiencing and then formally learning Balinese style massage and Ayurvedic, Abhyanga massage in Karangsem which is near the Gunung Agung sacred volcano and home of the Mother Temple of Besakih, Bali’s largest and holiest temple, cultivated a powerful enlightenment and a strong interest in holistic health.

Upon graduating from the Essex Group Institute for Massage and Bodywork in Verona, NJ in 2004, Tracy began her new career at the Hilton Spa at Short Hills. Specializing in Ayurvedic Abhyanga Massage, Pre-Natal, Post-Natal, Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue, she also has experience with Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage and Shiatsu.

Continuous travel to places like Europe, Morocco and other countries in South East Asia to learn about ancient holistic health has allowed her to unite a formal Western education with Eastern philosophical principles of holistic healing.

Most recently, during a third trip to Morocco in 2009, Tracy learned about the Hammam tradition, which is a ritual cleansing with water, in the Imperial City of Marrakech. She also completed certification training for Cancer, HIV and Hospice Massage in January 2009 at the Healing Hands Institute with Cheryl Chapman, RN who is a leader in Oncology Massage.

In addition to a graduate of New York University for Cultural Anthropology and a published photographer, she is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree at Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture in Manhattan for Architectural and Historical Preservation.

She is an active member in good standing with the ABMP: ID# 882482
